I think the best things about life are the experiences, whether they are positive or negative. This, in turn, means I'm happy pretty much all of the time. I like to be outside and spend the majority of my free time there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sadly, at the moment I have no couch to offer anyone, but I'm happy to hang out. In about six months, I'll be relocating and I should have couch space then : ).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A lot of my friends on Maui participate in couch surfing. Through them I've met some interesting people. I think it's fabulous that something like this is happening.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew up just above the Gulf Coast in Alabama. Once on an early beach morning I went down to the ocean before everyone else was awake. As I stood in the water a small school of stingrays came towards me and spread around me. The ocean was so shallow their wings were flipping water into the air and it was catching the sunrise. It is currently the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to learn just about anything.

I'm an artist, so I can teach most things from ceramics and watercolor to basket weaving and knitting. I have a B.F.A. in photography and could impart some photography skills if you were interested. I also have a Masters in Education if you wanted to debate various types of educational reform.
