I hail from the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. Trinidad is a land booming with its distinct island music and parties, the ebb and flow of life there is quite fast and the crescendo comes on the weekend. Tobago is a very chilled, picturesque island where Robinson Crusoe is speculated to have been shipwrecked. Both islands offer contrasting lifestyles.

I studied in Leeds, UK for 3 years and that blew open my perceptions of the world. It's a huge world! Things are so different outside of the Caribbean! But I learnt that kind people are the same everywhere in any language.

I would like to continue educating myself about the world and its cultures, have fun while doing it and wonder about the things which make me feel insignificant.

My own story is taking me Jena, Germany for the next 2 years. I am very much looking forward to it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To quench my thirst for some geographical exploration - with a mixture of people and places, infused with culture and custom, topped with stories, lore and friendship, and finally a generous splash of inebriation to ensure a smooth blend throughout!

Interests

I am into amateur astronomy, amateur electronics, art and poetry, I love to cook and learn to cook new dishes. I like to wonder around aimlessly hoping to find something serendipitous.

Yoga and Meditation is a must! I believe too much technology use interferes with the minds processes and we must therefore seek to counteract these effects (though unknown mostly at this point) with an alternative naturist/humanist lifestyle.

And when I am very bored and surrounded by city lights a party is a good shout as well as a spliff
