NOTE: I do not have a smartphone with me at most times, and sometimes I am travelling without one. So we might need to shif our communication to text messages - or just make appointments and keep them!

I am interested in permaculture and organic vegetable farming, as well as foraging for wild plants and mushrooms.

I spent a large part of my life working with IT and programming, including years working for Greenpeace, Amnesty International and Action Aid Denmark (Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke).

After deciding that my life needed a different direction, I spent 21 months on the road, mostly volunteering on organic farms in Denmark and abroad.

I live in a collective (shared household), inside the intentional community Hallingelille, in the countryside of Zealand, around 60 kilometers from Copenhagen. If you come to visit, you would be interacting with the entire household (8 adults, 2-4 children, 2 cats), but you would be staying as my guest.

I am a Quaker (member of the Religious Society of Friends). I don't believe this to be the One True Religion, but I believe it is a good place to practice That Which is Good.

I like to host people! We've had some great people passing through our collective - some through CS (a housemate was the host, she has since moved out), some through other channels. a few times people just showed up, or we found them and invited them home.

Also, I really like staying with people when I go abroad. This is mostly for social reasons - I like meeting new and different people, and I strongly dislike hotels.

Crossed the Atlantic on a cargo ship, as a paying passenger.

Sat with a friend in hospital, who was deciding on whether to accept life-saving treatment. And not trying to force her to choose life.

I know quite a bit about quite a lot, being a compulsive reader and generally clever guy.

I am a professional gardener, who at times still feels like an amateur. But I do have both theoretical knowledge about and practical experience with growing many varieties of plants. I am happy to share any knowledge I have.

I am an experienced forager and mushroom hunter (Northern European mushrooms only). I can NOT teach you how to find or grow hallucinogenic mushrooms.
