Hi! My name is Nisa and I'm traveling around New Zealand and Australia for about 4 months!
I'm big on outdoors adventures, trying new foods, reading, writing and meeting new people. I am studying Social Work at university back at home but focusing on Anthropology while I'm here. I am completely fascinated by people and culture. Honestly am still trying to figure out exactly what I'm trying to do with my life- that's what travel is for :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Basically I just don't have the funds to keep paying for accommodations, and I love meeting new people- whether they be other travelers or locals... new experiences with new people are a huge part of what makes traveling so enriching!

I am happy to talk about my experiences living in various places in the US, and I have a pretty solid education focusing on social justice issues- and I am keen on sharing and talking about with other people! Part of what I find so interesting about traveling is understanding the differences and similarities between our basic human experiences- I love hearing what other people have to say (also coming from America, interested what other peoples' perception of America/Americans is)
