MY HOME

I live with a like-minded flatmate and we will 'co-host' you but we appreciate people who are also independent too.

I am quite spiritual and have a vision for my home and the people in it. We all bring positive energy and a love for one another. We honour Mother Earth and what she provides, the food on our table and the deep connection we have to nature. We honour ourselves and what we need. This means clear and open communication (expressing needs rather than complaining, and talking opening about an issue/speaking our truth), and for me honouring myself means meditating when I need clarity, releasing any angry emotions through sound if I need to in my room, being half naked when I feel like it, taking time to myself when I need it. We honour each other by listening to one another and sharing deep conversations. This home is a place for conscious communication. I may host workshops or gatherings at my house such as full moon ceremonies, womens circles or tantra evenings. You will need to be willing to participate or I respect if you want to go out or quietly stay in another room.

ABOUT ME
I live in Port Chalmers, 15 minutes out of Dunedin.

I'm on a deep spiritual journey at the moment so interested in attracting like minded people. I'm exploring my edges and shadow.

I love being in nature and adventure in the outdoors often (kayaking, climbing, surfing, hiking).

I do vinyasa and hatha yoga, I'm really into on acro yoga and socialise with friends usually over really good food.

I spend a lot of time on my beautiful property (3 acres) with 3 veggie gardens and 4 chickens. It's a work in progress but is coming along.

This could be a slightly alternative stay so when you write to me please let me know why you want to stay, what you would like to learn from this experience and what you can offer/share. I will only host people who do this.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm excited to start hosting again after many years. I couchsurfed with my Mum in Europe and she and my sister have also hosted after I told them about it.

I can 100% say that Couchsurfing has influenced me and my life in a positive and inspiring way. For me it represent a mentality and way of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in a tipi for 4 months, did Yoga on top of a moutain pass at 7am in the Canadian Rockies, been to a Islamic village wedding in Brunei complete with outfit, paddled on inflatable rafts for 3 days with a Russian scout group, hitched a ride on a Yatch for 2 days in Norway with a 60yr old Danish, slept in a real castle in Germany, have sat in a jacuzzi right on the street of Geneva old town and spent my summers in NZ sleeping on the beach next to a campfire.
