Overview
About Me
** I'm away at school every week between Sunday and Tuesday, and some times I have school residential where I'm away, but ask me and I'll let you know if I can host. Thanks).
** Sorry, but anyone trying to flirt with me, or add me without a good reason to connect with me - will be instantly blocked.
Serious offers to host or requests to be hosted, or friend requests (after having connected with me) - only.
Thank you.
CURRENT LIFE MISSION
To go with the flow of life by following my heart and intuition to wherever it needs me to go for my soul connection, resolution and evolution.
ABOUT ME
My name is Nisha and I live in East London, UK.
British Indian who does all sorts of fun and freeing things in life, for self empowerment and self realisation.
I'm an Artist, in training to be a Transpersonal Arts Therapist with a Steiner school, and I'm facilitating group empowerment workshops.
Every so often I do some writing of stories and songs that come through to me.
I'm also learning how to edit film footage and make music of my singing with some layered instruments on an iMac. (Exciting days ahead!). :D
I'm an Angelic Reiki Master Practitioner, who channels Reiki to people for balancing inner energies. I keep my own energies in flow, by practicing daily breath awareness meditation. Sometimes I go swimming and do indoor bouldering. In training with a mentor to embrace the call to become a grounded land healer and inner journeying Shaman.
PHILOSOPHY
We are all One.
Think and Feel in terms of Energy and Vibration.
Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder
And there is Beauty in Everything.
All is well.
I Am at peace Now.
I AM Love Personified.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've typed out lots of dvice to fellow CSers, as requests get posted on my Groups or in my personal messages.
I've surfed a few times myself and my hosts and I are very good friends now.
I hosted my last host from Goa at our shared home in my last place in West London, and I've stayed at his parents home in Bath too.
We often have visitors crash on our sofa now, so happy to add the offer to the Couchsurfing site now.
Our kitchen has tea-making facilities and a fridge if you need to store food. There's a shower in the bathroom upstairs with a sink and loo, and a loo downstairs too.
The nearest train station is: Island Gardens DLR (Docklands Light Railway). The train takes you straight into Bank where you can catch the tube, or the Overground line from Shadwell, the Jubilee Line from Heron Quays, and mainlines into the countryside from Lewisham.
Plenty of bus choices within a few minutes walk too.
Greenwich Town by the Thames river, is a lovely place to eat out with a market on most days. In fact, if you like jogging, the riverside is a lovely place to run and it's 1 min walk from our place.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've thoroughly enjoying meeting fun-loving, explorative people through CouchSurfing, from all walks of life. It leaves me in awe of how such a simple idea of giving, receiving, sharing can help us learn, and connect and evolve across our global communities. Such a blessing to be in the flow of this experience.
The synchronistic encounters of meeting travellers through other travellers and becoming lifelong friends is wonderfully amazing too! :)
Interests
INTERESTS
Too many to list here but I'm game for trying new things if they call to my curiosity. For me, everything I do, is part of an evolutionary journey of experiences to help me get to know and accept my Self and my Truth, the reality around me and within me, whilst remaining connected to the world and all her elements.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many amazing things experienced. I may write stories about them one day.
1) I held a cobra around my neck in Covent Garden, for a whole minute!!!! (It was a baby cobra but bloody scary and yet very rewarding and a real confidence booster! I cried tears of relief, sadness, and joy all at once).
2) I got buried in deep snow whilst skiing in Damuls, Austria!
I was running out of air and couldn't move, and I recall feeling surprisingly calm and ok with my last few minutes on Earth. Weirdly Beautiful.
-I survived ;) (I was found and rescued by my friends with the help of some local passing skier kids, who knew how to find someone who's head-down in deep snow!). :)
3) I travelled around India on my own for 6 months! All alone for once, I felt all sorts of emotions that needed to arise to heal my space. I loved meeting new people and making an abundance of beautifully authentic friends along the way. It was there that I synchronically stumbled upon Vipassana Meditation which kickstarted my 'awakening' process, and helped me heal and open up to my authentic Self.
4) I performed a mass group participation dance routine at the London 2012 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony! An amazing atmosphere in the Olympic stadium and so much fun. Still friends with many of my fellow participants.
5) I contributed and participated in making Burning Man a fabulous event for all of us! Twice. Burning Man is my Home away from home in the default world.
6) I completed a butt-kicking Aya* plant medicine journey! Learned several life changing lessons about my reality, and my purpose here. Still integrating two years later. I wouldn't do any more but the lessons were mighty helpful and appreciated.
7) I completed my Bhava Spandana course with the Isha Foundation!
(It kicked my butt back into my inner power, in so many ways!)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm all for having more of these in our world:
A Gift Economy, Transition Towns, Free Energy, Clean Air and Water, Meditation, Ayurveda, Arts, Yoga, Books, Permaculture, Sustainabilty, Community-building with sharing and giving opportunities, Creative Play, increasing Self Awareness, Compassionate Reflective Communication with everyone and everything, and ourselves, and Connection to everything around us! (Humans, Animals, Nature, Bugs, Sunshine-Stars-Moon.... etc).
Yes - World Peace!
I've been told several times now, that I'm here to be a Teacher of Self Worth.
So far I've been learning to increase mine first. The 'students' have steadily been appearing and asking me for help. Figuring out how to share my various insights with others - effectively, by increasing their own capacity to connect with their 'inner guidance' and strength.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happy to share conversation about the universe and feelings around our responsibility within it.
I can share meditation techniques with you, and sit with you in a facilitated guided meditation if you like. (It's something I've started doing for the locals in my community).
I can also share eatery ideas, travel routes on the train rail network and the underground tube network, and where to visit museums/galleries/parks in London and the UK.
Sometimes, I'll cook mild simple veggie meals, so I can share my dinner with you if you're in. If I have food ingredients in the house, I can even teach you how to cook a simple curry with rice.
I write my own songs now, so I could sing one for you, if you ask me to?
I can also teach you some Bollywood dancing (it was something I did for awhile, during my heyday!)
