ABOUT ME

I am a fun loving person who really like to experience new things, which is why I love couchsurfing! I love learning about people's cultures and food, hearing their stories from growing up or traveling.

I am a first generation American. My parents came from Jamaica after settling for a bit in England. I grew up in Florida and then moved to NYC where I went to medical school. I now training in pediatrics at Columbia hospital in NYC.

Work keeps me pretty busy but when I have free time I like to hang out with my sister and friends. I enjoy kayaking, shows, museums, shopping, and cooking.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had the great privilege to travel all around our amazing planet, and to meet people for wonderful cultures. I've been so humbled by the incredibly fascinating and generous people all over the world that I've meet.
I've stayed with some of the most kindest and most interesting people in the world on a recent trip to Asia.

Anything outdoors-- walks, runs, kayaking, beaches, surfing, diving, snowboarding (though I don't get a chance to do the last three very often!)

Take a Spanish language course for 2 months in Guayaquil

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about yummie Jamaican dishes like oxtail and ackee and saltfish. I'd love to show you may favorite places in NYC-- Riverside Park, INC lounge, UCB comedy club, and how to get great discount front row tickets for several Broadway shows using student rush.
