I am a very outgoing person and I really enjoy taking trips a couple of times a year to get out of my surroundings in NYC and explore something new. I love meeting new people and making connections. We can take a million trips but what makes it memorable are the moments you share with others and that's pretty damn amazing. During my spare time, I enjoy partaking in outdoor activities and reading.
At the moment, I currently live in Morocco in a small town in the Sahara as a Youth Development Volunteer for the United States Peace Corps program. If you would like to know more, feel free to drop me a note! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've tried couchsurfing before and was blown away by the great experience I had connecting with the people that I met. This seems like an amazing resource so why not utilize it?

Interests

Reading, drawing, partaking in outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, etc. Oh, and I also enjoy a really good glass of wine :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to all type of music, especially international. I love scary movies but scared shitless to watch them sometimes. I also like rom coms and movies imbued with humor. As far as books, I like mysteries and stories that capture the human moments that often go unnoticed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The hot air balloon ride over them mountains in Cappadocia, Turkey and watching the sunrise. It was absolutely breathtaking and a moment that I have etched to memory.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some cool phrases in Bengali and talk to you about American exceptionalism (a word not recognized by the English dictionary). I can also share a lot about where to go in NYC if you ever choose to visit and take you around if I'm available :)
