I am a recent medical graduate from Malaysia. New to backpacking and to couch surfing but I am excited about experiencing new things! New people also means new stories!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to experience living with hosts from different countries, to explore the living culture and philosophies they live by. I have always been in my comfort zone back in Malaysia, and I believe not moving out of that zone is wasteful of my youth. Couch surfing is a cool platform to meet new people who are living different, more interesting lives!

Interests

I love watching sitcoms and thrillers. I need a dose of memes or anything that tickles my bone everyday. I love to look at things that are green, obviously it's also my favourite colour. But what I meant was that I love the nature, looking at the colours of the sky as the sun sets is something that "haunts" my good dreams. I have not had much of hiking experience but the ones I had were incredible, and I hope to do more of that. Been into rock lately, makes me feel like a badass but I have always had love for Latin music and salsa. Never been to Spain or South America yet, but I reeeeeeally want to someday!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books by Dan Brown, Michael Jackson, Music by AR Rahman, horror and thriller movies. I love ACDC! And getting into Rage Against The Machine recently. So many TV shows! Most of the sitcoms: Friends, The Big Bang Theory, ParksnRec, The Office, etc I have done them all! Then the usual Game of Thrones, Jane the Virgin, Supernatural, House MD, Sherlock Holmes (Too many to list! I CLEARLY LOVE TV SHOWS HAHAHA)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have hiked two volcanoes, seen incredible beaches and rode a motobike through Sea of Sands in Indonesia!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to speak any of the languages I speak. I can share stories about my time in the countries I have visited and also about my home country, Malaysia. I could also teach you how to make proper Indian food with Indian spices and Malaysian style Indian food. I would love to learn Spanish and live with a Spanish-cultured family. Reeeeally want to! I also now want to learn Italian language because it is so singsong like! 😄

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook Indian vegetarian dishes, bake a chocolate cake and give some preliminary medical advice.
