Hi there!

I'm Nismah. I grew up in a small beach town in southern New Jersey. I currently live in Boston as a student at Berklee College of Music and working songwriter and producer.

My passions include music, cooking, surfing, nutrition, travel, people, reading, learning, creating, and writing, among others.

I believe in leaving a place and a person better than I found it. It's a sub-rule of the golden rule, in my opinion. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing so that I could meet people during my travels. It seems like an awesome tool to help make traveling more affordable and experience a destination from the perspective of a local!

Music, Movies, and Books

Jack Johnson, Michael Jackson, Tori Kelly, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce...the list never ends.

I LOVE Pirates of the Caribbean. I love Marvel and DC movies, Rom-coms, period films.

I enjoy books about real events, although a good novel is hard to pass up. Travel memoirs, scripture, strategy books are at the top of my go to genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived 4 years at Berklee College of Music! (trust me, that was quite a feat).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to read music, how to play guitar, piano, bass or to sing. I can teach you how to surf, to cook, to understand nutrition and your body, how to lift weights and exercise.

I love to learn anything! I'm not picky :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would LOVE to put on a house concert for you! Even if there's no guitar or piano, I'll sing acapella. It would also be my pleasure to cook a meal for you - I have great Italian, Egyptian and American recipes up my sleeve!
