ABOUT ME

I am a sarcastic comedian who loves to travel and gets his kicks out of hobbies that make the wind blow in his ears; studying in a business school for a reason I seem to have forgotten for now. Thomas Paine had a very fitting common thread that I also try to follow: 'My country is the world… And my religion is to do good.'

PHILOSOPHY

This may sound serious but I know that we are nothing but piles of chemicals acting according to physical law. And that there is no external will or force that requires us to do anything at all. So, in the meantime, why wouldn't I enjoy my life and do whatever happens to feel the most intriguing to me at any time :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By challenging the occasional in my life. By going to places I haven't been to and communicating in languages I don't have the knowledge of, also by offering the same possibility to rational people who wish to do the same with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through any organized community, none. Some experience in couch surfing in e.g. a friend's friend's house etc. The ones I enjoy the most are the ones that offer me a challenge - any kind of challenge is good. I find that it makes the people significant to me when, by spending time with each other we can gain some experience out of it, something that is out of the ordinary, distinguishing. Be the challenge in the form of lack of a common language or in an excellent argument, doesn't matter, as long as there is something that makes the people around me worthy of attention. And that can be the smallest of things.

I don't see a shrink so I juggle instead. I don't know which is the result of the other but, the point being, I find juggling very therapeutic and it is my small ambition and I have taught a few people how to get started. I use it not to perform to anybody, just to turn my brain off every now and then.
