About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am starting my master degree in European and International Human Rights Law in September, but planning to spend enough time traveling in Netherlands and maybe Europe so I won't be too stressed out about university stuff [cackles nervously]

ABOUT ME

Well, I love reading to start with, and I read pretty much everything. Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Diana Wynne Jones, Kazuo Ishiguro, and Haruki Murakami are some of my favorite authors though I love discovering new, young, contemporary writers too. I'm not really into sport and I'm not the most athletic person you can find, but figure skating fascinates me. So much that if anyone took me to the skating rink I would try to do a triple loop on the ice despite the fact that I could barely glide on my two feet (this really happens everytime). It all started with Yuzuru Hanyu and it just went completely downhill from there.

I'm a big fan of Studio Ghibli and Japanese culture never ceases to amaze me. I am learning Dutch now because I live in Leiden, Netherlands at the moment. Everyone speaks English here but the language itself it very interesting that I want to be able to speak it. To anyone who is a Dutch speaker or who is currently learning Dutch like me, let's be friends :D Of course, I would love to be friends with everyone here as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy talking to people and I love going to foreign places. I have learned about many things and got so much help from strangers abroad before while traveling so I'd be more than happy to help any of you while in Leiden or Netherlands. If I can find someone to show me more about Netherlands or just be my friend while I'm staying here, that would be really lovely as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Berlin alone by myself for three days. Which might sound more interesting with the fact that it was my first time traveling in Europe; heck, it was my first time ever going abroad without parents nor friends and I was an awkward-18-year-old with average English skills and tight budget.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Vatican City State, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Indonesia, Netherlands, Poland
