About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Move to California and get a new bike.

ABOUT ME

I'm an optimistic and inquisitive person. I've got a lot of energy, and I want to find a way to best put it to use. I want to explore and adventure and try all sorts of new things.

PHILOSOPHY

Fatally optimistic surrealist!

I'm a learner. I don't have much of an agenda, but in everything I do I try to come away from it with some new piece of information. I try to be as open and genuine in communication and interactions as possible.

Interests

Musical instruments. I play the violin, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica. Singing too!

Favorite authors: Don Delillo, Edward Abbey, Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut, Haruki Murakami, Roberto Bolaño, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, J.D. Salinger, Barbara Kingsolver, many more? I love books

The Little Prince.

Music: Good stuff of all genres :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking in the Himalayas
Sailing down the Hudson River in a tiny boat to get to New York City.
Sleigh riding on sand dunes led along by a wonderful donkey called Mezarique.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would really like to learn to play the saw as a musical instrument.
I love learning new recipes...I'd like to master bread baking.
I can teach fiddle tunes, hoe to make good stews and soups, how to make paper mache puppets, I'm also good at fermenting things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, food, company, laughs (I've got some good corny jokes)

Countries I’ve Visited
