About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figuring out new destinations.

ABOUT ME

Hej you all!

Travelling has always been one of the greatest pleasure in my life. My life hasnt had a really long quite moment the past few years, as this pleasure extended itself to not just travelling but also living in other places of the world for a longer period. After my high school exams in 2008, I decided to live in Bamenda, Cameroon for one year, working with a youth organisation. Than I moved to Berlin, where I study since 2009.

There is no need to write much about Berlin. It is a nice town to stay and have tons of fun, therefore it would be an honor to give people the possibility of a nice stay, even maybe with some cooking time or town trips together. I am open to (almost) everything, can be very spontanious and love to meet new people from all over the world.

In Berlin, I am living in a 3-room flat together with my two roommates. We are all students and pretty, pretty relaxed. I have a camping matress and enough pillows, blankets and towels, so no need for that, but more than two people would be impossible to host :) For us its important that living together works fine, so patience and respect towards the others in the flat is very much appreciated.

It would be nice to hang out with my guests, having a good time together, as it should not feel like "another" hosteltrip. I think, thats the special feeling while couchsurfing.

If you are sportive person or like to go out and do stuff: please let me know, would be nice to share some quality active time together!

So, I hope to see you in Berlin or some other places in the future!

PHILOSOPHY

The most important thing in life to know:
There is no way to force happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until now, I actually just surfed on other peoples couches in Kenya and Tanzania, but I am really looking forward to host somebody in my room in Berlin and to hang out with surfers from all over the world showing them what Eastern Germany has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been the best way of travelling I experienced so far in my life. In Kenya and Tanzania where I surfed together with a good friend of mine, we got insights of day-to-day life, you would never encounter without couchsurfing and on top of that all, we met amazing people. Its nice to get in touch with people who really live in a city/village/country you are surfing in, makes the trip a lot more substantial, exciting and fun I think. So, to sum up: only good and recommendable experiences!

Interests

All kind of sports. Actually badminton and squash, sometimes frisbee and sometimes soccer or tennis.
Reading, all kinds of books or magazines. In former days many crime novels, nowadays more the life telling novels and historical stories.
Traveling and seeing different places with different people and most important different food.
