Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Getting to know people who live a different lifestyle than mine will also make me question what is generally known, about their country, as conventional wisdom.
Talking with our hosts, getting to know them will teach us more about the country we traveled to than any tour we might join. Adapting to different lifestyles, homes, cultures and traditions will make us both more sociable and flexible in our travels.
The biggest advantage of Couchsurfing is to meet locals.
