About Me

I'm a Master's student in Germany who is still trying to figure out life. I'm a boy and engineer at heart and I've always loved DIY and building things. I'm open minded and I have a poor memory.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After coming to Germany I've discovered that YouTube isn't enough to live a happy life. I realize now that doing new things, having interesting conversations with people and hiking make me happy. I've only just started to travel and I like it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Just about anything that sounds nice. For example Cocorosie, Young the Giant,
Movies - When I'm alone I love watching fantasy and comic movies but I will watch dramas and classics only with other people.
TV Shows - If you haven't already you should watch "The Newsroom" right away and you will thank me for it.
Books - The usual fantasy books but I love science fiction as well. I love Isaac Asimov's work. Lately I've been interested in reading on a wider range of topics such as meditation, economics, evolution, history, sociology etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a prosthetic arm which moves and grabs objects by sensing electrical signals in muscles and nerves for my Bachelor thesis. It was fun and probably the only time that I was focused for so long on a single task.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and I'd be more than happy to cook together. I could teach you some Indian cuisine and I want to learn about your cuisine too. It would be awesome if you could guide me to locations I should see in your town - castles, museums, old streets, food festivals, bars, hiking destinations etc and feel free to join me.

Traveling to a new place usually leads to taking in a lot of new unstructured information. If you happen to know any history or facts about the place, that would help sort out all that information in my head.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some interesting conversations about how the future might look like in terms of economics, society and community. And yes, I fit the stereotype, I can also help fix your computer :|
