About Me

ABOUT ME

HI! I'm NItzan (the meaning of my name is a flower starting to bloom ❤️)
I'm a social worker from Israel, and just finished a very unique job as a activism group facilitator for young women at risk, in the past 3 years. I'm also an activist and entrepreneur in the field of women's health and gender equality in the health system. I have an NGO in Israel which I manage remotely while traveling 😍

Music is deeply connected to my soul. It makes me happy and allows me to translate the world into something i can better understand. One of my greatest passions is singing, and it helps me to feel at home no matter where I am. I'm also a passionate writer, not poems or novels, just my life experiences and my own unique story.

I love travelling and discovering new cultures. That experience of freedom-nature-people is addictive, so I try to keep on going to new journeys. So far i've visited 30 countries, a lot of them by myself. I also love being in nature with my guitar, a natural pool and good friends (and lots of food, obviously).
I LOVE animals, especially cats, and am a vegetarian for many years.

PHILOSOPHY

No mud - No lotus (Thich Nhat Hanh).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering with CP patients and with Holocaust survivors
Exploring New Zealand's nature
Sunrise in Fiji, sunrise over the Uluru rock, sunset and moon rise in the Sinai desert
Seeing the snow fall for the first time inside a basket in front of a bicycle at night in Amsterdam
Being a social worker
Speaking up for other women who go through a similar journey as me
Traveling alone around the globe...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to play lovely israeli songs on the guitar :)
I could share my opinions and experiences of being an Israeli citizen, or share my thoughts and knowledge on being an activist and dealing with a chronic illness.
I am very interested in hearing about the life in different countries, and also in languages. I would be happy to know a bit about your life in your home-country. And always happy to get to get to know some new good music, and taste the local food! (as long as it's vegetarian :) )
