I´m Maria and I´m from Poland. I live in Lanzarote since 2014.
I work as excursion agent and know a lot about Lanzarotes´ tourist offer: what is worth to be seen, prices, special offers. If you have any questions, need a professional advice or would like to do a booking for a bus tour, a boat or catamaran trip, a theme park (with pick-up) or some sport activities (guided trekking excursions, jetski, quad offroads...) just send me a message or pop in my office! There´s a lot of stuff to do for everybody ( also for CSers on budget) in Lanzarote, just let me know what you would like to do!

I like spending time outdoors and partying. I am vegan and a big 420 enthusiast.
I am not a good swimmer and actually I am a bit affraid of water (trauma) so I´d love to start practicing snorkeling to fight this fear, anybody would like to help me? :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

At the moment I use Couchsurfing only to meet other people and go out during the evenings or spend time and discover Lanzarote together on my days off (mondays!).

"Into the wild" 2007, "Death Becomes Her" 1992 & "Alice in Wonderland" 2010 are my favourite movies, although I am not a big fan of cinema.

You might be interested in watching some vegan related documentaries:
* Earthlings: narrated by Joaquin Phoenix (vegan) with the soundtrack from Moby (vegan). Does an amazing job of exposing the many ways in which animals are exploited and abused.
* Forks over knives: solid facts and statistical analyses throughout the movie. The strong correlation made between eating animal products, and mortality due to heart-disease and cancer is particularly scary.

What I can teach you is why and how not to support animal cruelty and how easy it is to prepare a delicious vegan meal.

I always bring a little present for my host, usually some food (traditional from the place I live) or something useful like the mats you put under your mug. If you have any special requests just let me know!
