About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finally make it to Burma. I'm 0 for 2.
ABOUT ME
Hm...ok here goes. I...
- live in Chicago now, but was in SF for a while and still consider myself Californian
- work for an airline and travel as often as I can
- am a gay, latte-drinking, bike-riding, tree-hugging "fake American" (as Sarah Palin would say)
- have a tiny TV but don't really watch it; I usually listen to music or NPR instead
- love to go grocery shopping and enjoy cooking at home
- sometimes have a foster cat living in my apartment
- am getting better at volleyball every week but am still pretty awful
- also play tennis, but not very well either
- bike! yes, finally, something I am good at
- always have either coffee, wine, or water available for guests
PHILOSOPHY
No regrets
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My old roommates and I often hosted CS'ers in our apartment. I always had an awesome time with our guests. Now that I have moved out into my own apartment, I figured it was time to get my own account and start having surfers over again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Only hosting in the past, but I hope to start staying with CS'ers more often when I travel away.
While living in SF, we hosted many people in our apartment and always enjoyed the company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer, I took a three-week trek across Europe and Asia, much of it on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Travelling in Russia wasn't nearly as difficult as I'd expected, and the train ride was so peaceful and relaxing. I could have continued on further. The trip was taken with some great friends, and we met plenty of interesting people along the way.
