ABOUT ME

Let's see. I'm 28 (38 now, currently updating my profile), no immediate family, teaching English in Reutov, Russia. I'm 5'6", 190lbs, tattooed, 420 friendly, love good conversation, love art, write poetry.

PHILOSOPHY

Dear god, I don't know. That's a hell of a question. I guess I'd say my most embarrassed passion is love. I want to be in love. I want to find the girl who loves me more than anything else in the whole world. Yes lame. And not why I'm on couchsurfing. But it's true. I want to capture beauty and reality in new ways in my poetry and inspire people and help people.

兴趣

Literature, art, music, music, music--especially bluegrass, blues, funk, classic country, rock (classic, alternative), pretty eclectic. I love going to shows and festivals. I love nature/hiking/camping/floating rivers. I play guitar and enjoy reading.

Life is about people, not stuff. Living in America makes me sad because everyone is so focused on making money. If I can live in the country and have beautiful relationships with compassionate people I'm happy.

Love is a choice not a feeling. Feelings change, and if you're going to commit to someone, you have to accept that sometimes you won't love them like wildfire.
