Teach, Learn, Share

My profession is water: raising awareness of the threats to our water resources, improving our relationship with and stewardship of water, and developing solutions that prioritize people and natural systems above an extraction based economy. My work is focused both domestically and abroad and across a range of disciplines - policy, access and equity, efficiency, conservation, technology, investments and more. I love talking about and teaching others about this stuff.

I am working hard to reduce the amount of waste I produce - being a more conscientious consumer and making products and foods that I might otherwise buy.
- Vegan food stuffs - Nut and oat milks, Vegan cheese, Yogurt
- Broth and soup
- Bread
- Kombucha
- Bath and body products - hair rinses, shampoo, body scrubs, face cleaners etc

I’m also always exploring ways to give a second (or third!) life to materials that would be otherwise discarded, whether for creative outlet or more practical application.

I have some other hobbies I’m happy to share / teach, while also always looking to grow my existing base of knowledge:
- Growing and propagating plants, planning a garden - houseplants and outdoors, edibles and decorative.
- Sewing - I use a machine and hand stitch, making clothes and things from patterns, adding embellishments and fun details to existing clothes, transforming or combining existing clothes into new pieces
- Cooking Vegan meals
- Paper crafts - flowers, some origami

I am working on my Spanish and would love to practice with you! I love learning most anything, like different forms of creative expression and art, crafts, etc. I love learning hands-on projects and trades, building stuff, physical work.

I am especially keen to learn more about anything that brings me closer to the natural world - survival skills, identifying and using medicinal herbs and natural remedies, birds, animals, tracking,
