About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Eating in the Wake of the Green Revolution
ABOUT ME
I was awarded a Watson Fellowship in March of 2007. With it, from June 2007 to August 2008, I travel the world - namely Mexico, India, France, Morocco, and Spain - to look at the cultural impacts of changes in the farming practices of staple crops and shifts in traditional diets due to technological advancements. So, if I seem oddly fascinated by the contents of your kitchen cupboards, there's reason.
In general? In June of 2004, Vanity Fair described me as "a tall, happy-go-lucky blond, who looks like he should be selling bread on Martha's Vineyard."
Sure.
