Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:

I have a couch and am happy to lend it out!

I know how much $$$ travelling can be; I want to help out like minded people who travel and need to save as many dimes as possible.
Plus Calgary is awesome and I want to show it off!

I hope to surf on as many couches as possible on my upcoming trip to South America.

Interests

Hiking, camping, dancing, laughing, music, the mountains, snowshoeing, kayaking, cooking (more like eating), drinking, experiencing live music/plays/comedy, yoga, travelling, smiling, learning, recycling.... the list can go on for days.

I like to be active and enjoy a night out on the town as much as I enjoy one spent under the stars.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping off the Cliffs at Rick's Cafe in Negril, and out of an airplane, and attached to a bungee cord... mostly jumping off whatever I can.

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught ESL for a year and am happy to help/encourage learning the English language (with a Canadian twist).
I love to learn about the world and the different experiences people have had in it.
It makes me happy to share an experience, or a story about one of them, over a delicious meal and a glass of wine.
