ABOUT ME

We live near Portland OR and are excited to travel the world together. We have been married for a year and a half now and currently have 2 dogs (no kids yet). Nick is a sales rep for one of the top copier companies in the industry and Sarah is a business developer for an international health and wellness company. We love to travel and to get to know people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have some friends that told us about their couch surfing experiences years ago, and we are excited to be a part of the couch-surfing community now. We would be willing to host except that our house is about 45 minutes outside of Portland, and for most people there is very little reason to come out near us if you are coming to Portland. For now we are looking forward to meeting some fun and interesting people when we get to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We traveled to Calgary, Canada for our first couchsurfing stay, and we had a blast. After such a great first experience, we don't know why we didn't start traveling this way sooner. We are excited to travel more often, staying with people around the world. Now we can say that we are huge fans of couchsurfing and think it is a fantastic idea/experience.

We probably watch too many movies as we really enjoy it when we have down time (even though that has become a lot less often lately). With the exception of horror movies we have favorites in pretty much every genre. Sarah reads fairly often and she could probably talk about more books than I could. We did both recently really enjoy the Hunger Games series. Music is across the board - it depends on our moods and current activities.

I (Nick) am a certified rescue diver, and in Maui I got to dive with sharks. It was pretty awesome. I also married the most amazing woman on the planet... that is definitely the most amazing thing I've ever done! Sarah has gone skydiving, been on a reality TV show, and done a number of other things on her "bucket list" already.
