We like to be active, reading, cooking, and eating good food. We're interested in what's happening around us close to home and abroad. Family and friends are important. Our little boy is Cyrus. We are travelling by bicycle in Europe Sept to Dec 2018.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're keen to host you in Whitehorse, show you a good time and hear about what it is like where you live. When we travel, we find couch surfing to be the place where the most interesting and memorable experiences happen - it is about the people more that about the place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted quite a number of CSers in Whitehorse and continue to enjoy it. During our travels, we like to stay with other couch surfers when we can, mixing it with hostels, hotels, or camping.

Interests

We spend a lot of time on outdoor pursuits; this is partly why we choose to live in Yukon. In summer and fall, we are out canoeing, riding mountain bikes and motorbikes, hiking, camping, kitesurfing, fishing, hunting, and wandering. Anything to take advantage of our long daylight hours!
In winter, we love to downhill ski, snowboard, hang out at cabins, x-country ski, kite ski, snowmobile, fish,...
Whitehorse has a great arts scene (music, theatre, dance, etc.) that we like to take in. We have both been in choirs (pop and regular).
Dinners and parties with friends are happening all year round. There are a few watering holes that we like to visit.

Nathan is active in the community - part of a resident's association.

We love our neighbourhood and my neighbours - it is an eclectic mix of people from all walks of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nathan had sold a car in one hour (for a couchsurfer no less!), seen the northern lights in all their vivid beauty, rode his motorbike from Canada to the Southern tip of South America, come too close to grizzly bears, and performed Mozart's Requiem ... to name a few
