About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I used couch surfing for my trip to China, now its my turn to host
ABOUT ME
I opened a Tea Store in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2006 with the idea that someday it would allow me to travel the world leaning about different cultures and finding exquisite tea to bring back to my home state. After many long years of work, the store is finally able to support my travel, and I am hoping to travel more and more!In 2010 I went on my first business trip to china for a month, and now in February of 2012 I will be going to northern India to explore the country.I will be going to India with Maria (http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/krougs/) . We met not to long ago in my tea store, but we have similar philosophies on travel, and adventure.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is about contrast. The higher the contrast, the better the experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
I think my favorite movies are the good ones ;) What I mean by that is movies that have a meaning, and have a somewhat quirky way of telling the story. Of course I also like the summer blockbusters as well, but they still have to be "good".I like sci-fi a lot in both movies and books. Michael Crichton the author I like almost everything from.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Working on a cruise ship gave me the opportunity to experience a lot of things i never would have.
Riding a little bus up a mountain in Dominica with one wheel hanging off the edge of a 1000 foot drop was the most heart pounding experience I had.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about Tea, but I still have so much to learn and experience.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belize, Canada, China, France, Japan, Monaco, Puerto Rico, Switzerland
