Hi! I'm Nína from Iceland but living in New York. I used to host people years ago in my hometown and now I'm getting back into Couchsurfing because I'm travelling in the US. I'm an artist and producer currently living in Brooklyn New York and love it so much. My happy place is nature and especially swimming in lakes, but I'm also a city girl. And yes this is the current volcanic eruption that's happening in Iceland in my photo.

I lived in Argentina and I've travelled for some time in South America. I spend my time reading, studying and hanging out with my friends. I'm a passionate traveller, in Iceland and abroad - I spend all my money on flights, food, theatre and music. Is this enough information?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to host on Couchsurfing years ago and I really loved it. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to travel on a budget in the United States. I'm planning to visit many of the national parks in California and around this summer, but I also really want to experience Los Angeles and California.

I love meeting new people and getting to know them and their cultures. I love sharing stories and finding moments when we feel alive together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled Brazil alone. Hiked the Highlands in Iceland. Surfed beaches in Uruguay, met indigenous people, danced for 7 hours straight in the clubs of Argentina and slept under the stars with friends in the French-Alpes. Travelled in Palestine. Made my own radio show about love and relationships. Premiered on the big stage in Iceland. And so much more.
