ABOUT ME
I'm NneJ. And I'm full of joy and love.
I love you!! You are beautiful.
I'm a free spirited person that is enjoying all the precious moments that happen daily.
I practice Mysore Ashtanga yoga daily, care deeply about my health and relationships. I love vegan food and primarily eat vegetarian.
I dedicate my life to empowering and inspiring people to be the best they can and helping to support them in doing so.
I believe every day is a choice and I choose to live most of my days with gratitude and a deep love of life.
I've grown up a good portion of my life in the bay area and I love it. Australia taught me a lot and New Zealand changed me forever. I like to say that it shallowed me whole and spit me out a different person. Which is literally true.
I think it is important that we think about what out money goes to creating and who we are supporting with our money.
I also live a life of service helping a number of communities bring food to or create food access in the Bay Area. Caza de Paz and Planting Justice most consistently. And this brings great joy into my life.
PHILOSOPHY
Ever choice I make helps create the world I want to see.
We create our own universe...we create all the happiness and joy we have in our lives, but we also create our pain and suffering, by the choices we make. It is how we react to situations that really defines who we are and I believe that we have to do whatever we can to create a positive place to be....wherever we are.
Don't stop dreaming...dreaming can open your mind to new possible
The biggest challenge most of us face is ourselves and once we conquer our own personal roadblocks we can do anything. (As I read in a yoga book, "Most of our obstacles are created within our own heart.")
Reason, Season, or Lifetime
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I smile, give hugs, and help people open their hearts.
I've hosted and have been hosted by such special people in my heart. I've participated in numerous group outings and meetings. I've helped show people around my home or my temporary homes. Taking people on hikes is always a pleasure or preparing meals together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing enhances my experiences in life. It gives me a chance to meet so many different people from different walks of life. I'm also happy that there is a place where so many people can come together and get to know one another, since that's what life's about anyways...people.
I'd have to say that Couch Surfing has really been a lifeline for me. I have no problem staying in a hostle, but getting to meet and connect with other Couchsurfers has really made me feel at home where ever I go. Traveling can get lonely, but thanks to CS it allows me to have fun and enjoy each area, so much more than I would have been able to do if I was traveling through on my own.

Siddhartha - Herman Hesse
Alchemist - Paulo Coelho
celestine prophecy - James Redfield
Power of Now - Eckhart Tolle

Music...I love so many different types of music, electronic has been one of my favorites, alternative, 80's, oldies, rock & roll and jazz are also great. I love hearing new stuff and seeing music played live is always a treat. I also love hearing music that people I know have taken the time to create, it seem to have a deeper impact to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bring food from the farmers market to poorer communities in East Oakland to help my friends allow access to fresh Organic food. I believe we all deserve access to these resources.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to share all that I learn. I'm willing to teach you anything I know and want to learn as much as I can from each person I know and then take what I learn and share that with new people.
I'd love to teach anyone how to enjoy life a little more. We all take life too seriously and need a day to just appreciate life.
I'd like to learn how to open my mind more and more over time, to other ways of living and other ways of experiencing life.
I'd like to share my love of life and deep love of people with those worth sharing it with.
