I left Canada in 2003 to travel(live) around the world on an easy pace by land and sea. I'm a very unstressed person, 99% of the time! I now live on a boat with my partner.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted people visiting Qingdao-China while I was living there. I loved the experience and will open my door again when I get one.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really loved hosting, all my surfers were fantastic!
I'm now trying a few couches and see how it goes.

Interests

THE SEA:
I'm a sailor and I can't be away from the sea for too long otherwise I feel that a part of me is missing. I work on boats, I live on a boat and I dream about boats...

Golf:
This is the ultimate aiming game. It's the logical step after having thrown snow balls, used a sling shot, thrown rocks and anything that could be aimed at a target. Being outside with a club and a little white ball and aim at a distant tiny target is just too much fun, plus it's a great walk.

LANGUAGES:
I'll never know enough, the best way to get into cultures

Cycling: I've cycled from Scotland to China (through Siberia and the Gobi desert). I absolutely love exploring by bike.

Yoga: both for the stretching benefits and the mind.

reading, friends, good wine, good food, other people's knowledge, etc...

I just love being outside, a bit like being 7 years old but with the world as a backyard :-)

I like about everything else except marketed music.

I like history books, philosophical, adventure experience,

I like movies that completes their function. If it's to entertain there shouldn't be any crap moral in it. If it's to explore, there shouldn't be any censorship... you get the idea.
