ABOUT ME
Moriz, 26 years old, architectural draftsman, bass/piano/guitar/sort-of-drums-player, music-fanatic
CURRENT MISSIONS
Life-spanning ones: Find my place on this little blue marble called earth, enjoy the little things that happen on it, discover new places on it, meet new people on it and to travel more often on it (especially northern europe :) ).
The more practical ones: Improving my abilities in cooking vegetarian food without all that Tofu stuff, getting better at playing my instruments, go basejumping and overcome my angst of heights.
PHILOSOPHY
You don't need to be an asshole, you can be a down-to-earth kick-ass dude.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well... I want to meet people. Interesting people. People who do something out of their lives and who are never tired of gaining knowledge and experiences. People who don't just sit in everyday, doing the same stuff over and over again. People who are willing to share or even exchange their experiences with one another, their believes, their viewpoints... as the world is simply too big to just have one solid opinion about everything on it. Simple i guess but that's it :)
Interests
Music in general (playing and listening), drawing, painting, reading, photography, doing stuff with friends and strangers, outside activities (especially hiking if i got time for it), bouldering... plus simply doozing off in the sunlight with a fresh breeze in my face gets me happy instantly :)
But i'm a curious person and always open for something new.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to almost every genre of music. Mainly rock, indie, singer/songwriter, some metal, electro... there's just too much good stuff. I'm not much of a movie-guy but i make up for it with reading books as i seldom go outside without one in my bag :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was visiting Paris in July 2014, and i spontaneously stayed for two more days. It was my first experience in Couchsurfing and since then i realized that there are people honestly willing to share what they have gathered in their lives, what they own, what they've been living through... and since then i want to do the same more often. Gather and share. It really affected me on a personal level and in such a manner that it managed to change my view on the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some guitar-, bass-, and piano-playing, share some cooking recipes with you, some (Swiss-)German and maybe even some French (i'm a bit rusty), my favorite music, books and movies, my views on life and vice versa... as there is no end in learning in life i could go on and on but hey, let's just see where it would get us :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well... myself i guess? :)
I like to have conversations, be it shallow ones about daily life or deeper, super-serious ones... i like to share my views, my thoughts, really, just myself and who i am.
