I've only recently started traveling. I started off small traveling through various states. Now I've started a plan that will get me traveling two months in 2017 and hopefully more from there on out.

I'm a professional AV engineer. That means I set up and run lighting and audio at events for corporate, conventions, house of worship at just about any space that can hold a group of people.

The one thing I'd say I am more than anything is sincere. I love spending time with others who are present and real.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've been trying to get into couch surfing for road trips and attending events. But I've also been lucky enough to meet new people who let me stay with them for many of my travels, resulting in me not using couchsurfing so much. I'd love to use couchsurfing to meet more and find new people though, (especially since I won't always get lucky and meet people who can help me get a safe nights rest).

I absolutely love games - from simple card games to complex board games, I've played all types. If you have a game you'd like to play, you can sign me up.
Other than that, if you have any suggestions for books, of any genre, I'd be happy to give it a try.
And like many on here, I simply enjoy the comfort of good company. While I don't have much to talk about, I love listening.

Between books and music I'd have a tough time saying which is my favorite pass time. Music evokes emotion, books evoke imagination.
Books: too many to count. But I'm currently reading the Forever War by Joe Haldeman and Old Man's War by John Scalzi.
Music: Damien Rice, Fiddlars, Halestorm, Coeur De Pirate
Movies: I'm going to demonstrate a lack of originality here and say. groundhog day.

Volunteering for Conventions has been some of the best experiences I've ever had. Working hard and then Seeing all the new faces, excited for new events and experiences is really quite a wonderful feeling.

I have too much to learn to be able to say I have something to teach.
I've worked in tech and Audio-visual fields a long time. Perhaps, I know enough to help with those.

Along that, anything you think I can learn, about any part of anything you know, I'd love to start.
