Short version. Grew up in the US and left for a "gap year" after high school. Over a decade later I'm still traveling and working my way around the world. I've lived and worked in Africa, Asia, and Australia so far. I've done volunteer work in Africa, taught English in China, drove tractors in Australia, worked at a ski resort in New Zealand, and the list goes on. I enjoy learning new skills as I go and I'm always down to try new things.

I've traveled through a lot of places via the backpacker route of hostels and dorms but I feel at times you can miss out on really getting to know the people and lifestyles of the places you're in. I've always found meeting people where they live and getting a chance to see a bit of their lives from their perspective a rewarding and amazing experience and I want more of that.

I enjoy teaching people some of the skills I have such as English, juggling, magic, slackline. I also like learning the same things from those who are better than me at these things.

Aside from the stories and pictures of my life and travels I also enjoy sharing my knowledge of other countries. Also if people have some of the same interests that I do or want to learn I enjoy teaching and sharing my skills. On a practical side I also enjoy helping others be it in the kitchen, out in the garden, changing the oil on a car, painting a wall, giving a back massage etc. I enjoy doing things with my hands and being a help to others.
