About Me

Looking to travel and meet some amazing people in the process! Interested in food, self-sufficiency, cultural exchanges, reading, and what interests others. Love camping, the outdoors, and laughing. I like the idea of whatever the interaction, we go our separate ways better off than we were before. As a student I studied anthropology and I try my best to find the time to travel as much as possible . I would love to cook for host if he/she appreciates a nice home cooked meal!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing for those times I have the time but not the funds to explore an area, visit a friend, or otherwise leave my home base. I've had some great experiences Couchsurfing with friends in the past and don't see why there shouldn't be more of these in my future.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Ace Ventura (spoke to me in my youth), City of God, Captain Fantastic (hit me right in the f*****g feels),

Music - Kendrick Lamar. Leonard Cohen. Townes van Zandt. Also Cake, J-Cole, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Neil Young, Chance the Rapper, Chronixx, Isaiah Rashad

Books - East of Eden, Ishmael, Game of Thrones series, 1984, Enders Game, Crime and Punishment, To Kill a Mockingbird, Ego and Archetype

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had the privilege to live in a amazing intentional community (an ecovillage) for 6 months. That was great. Backpacking trips, meeting people from cultures I'm embarrassed to admit I never knew existed, got vulnerable in a big way, was welcomed with radical acceptance.

Teach, Learn, Share

Math is that thing that always liked me more than I like it, I've tutored many levels and feel comfortable teaching if this is of interest to you. Cooking is a thing I've done for work and fun; would be happy to cook and share a meal for us if you would like as well. And if you are busy / too tired / uninterested to connect with, that's fine too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share time and offer company. I think I'm decent to be around. Certainly somewhere between neutral and a positive presence.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Romania, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
