I'm a Canadian guy from Vancouver who has been living in Amsterdam since 2007. I enjoy travel, all things music and comedy.

Also, for some reason when I check CS from my phone it signs me in as being in England....this is likely not the case so unless it says travelling, I'm in Amsterdam

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Are you in Amsterdam? Do you have no idea what to do? I am always showing people around Amsterdam, the city, the red light district, the night life etc. I have taken around so many friends and friends of friends I thought it would be fun to meet new people and show them an interesting side of the city they may not come across on their own. Feel free to message for suggestions or to meet up while you're here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm more likely to be at and/or coordinate an event than host/be hosted but I'm always happy to show someone around the city. Unfortunately I usually get messages like "Hi, I'm in Amsterdam right now for 5 minutes can you meet me 10 minutes ago" and then I can't help. If you are in town and send me a message I will do what I can to meet with you or at the very least get you a list of great things to do!

Free time? That would be nice. When I do have free time you can usually find me near the Leidseplein. I love comedy and live shows as well as movies and music and that square usually has a lot of everything. I play several string instruments so if it's nice outside I can sometimes be found playing guitar on my roof.
