About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making a documentary about Dogs who track Whales - Intrigued!?

ABOUT ME

I am a Zoologist and a film-maker. Just finishing my Masters in London and want to spend my life traveling the world find amazing culture, science, people and places and tell their stories on film.

The world is such a big place with so much to explore and so much to learn. I'd better get to it then!

PHILOSOPHY

“ So we dream on, inventing our lives ... but our dreams escape us however vividly we imagine them. There's only one thing you can do, keep passing the open windows.”

John Irving - Hotel New Hampshire

Music, Movies, and Books

Film: A Prairie Home Companion, Brick.
Book: Peter and Wendy (Peter Pan), A Prayer for Owen Meaney.
Music: There is too much to say, I believe however that Tom Waits or Joni Mitchel know the secret to the meaning of life and it is hiding somewhere in one of their songs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I saw the Robinson Crusoe coast of the Sesse Islands in the middle of Lake Victoria in Uganda after 6 hours on a fishing boat, it was sunset, we ate a tilapia dinner with a family on the Island, it was perfect.

On the other side of the coin, the first night I cycled out onto the Playa at the Burning Man festival and saw the art, the fire, the wonderful people, its enough to enforce anyone's faith in humanity!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know enough things about ecology, cooking and film-making to teach people, At least I hope I do... I can count to ten in six languages!? I want to learn anything and everything!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Kenya, Spain, Uganda, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
