About Me

I am passionate about connecting with new people, seeing the world, and learning new things. I am also own a small consulting and marketing business called Taste Profit www.TasteProfit.com,) to help food entrepreneurs sell their specialty food online.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first experienced the magic and power of Couch Surfing last year when I went to Europe. The first woman (Magda) that I couch surfed with happened to be going away for 3 weeks but decided to give me the key to her apartment and basically let me live in her home near Stockholm, Sweden for a couple weeks. The trust and generosity she showed me was so rare and amazing that I was hooked on this amazing international community. Since then, I've had amazing experiences at couch surfing gatherings, with others offering their couch or a room, and have also happily hosted several people myself.

Honestly, since getting married, becoming very busy with life and work, I have not had the opportunity to couch surf or host for some time now, but I'd like to get back into it as it was a fun way to meet new people and explore different cultures.

Interests

I love to travel, be in quiet places on earth and do things outdoors like hike, bike, snowboard, camp, backpack, and mountain bike. I also enjoy cities, cultural gatherings, partying, beaches, etc.

For work, I like to connect with different specialists (food photographers, graphic designers, marketers, programmers, etc. that can help food businesses more easily sell their food online.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was super lucky to get to sail on a tall ship for six months, which led me into all sorts of experiences and places I'll never forget, including sailing around Cape Horn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Beyond some good conversation and a light sense of humor, I could share my understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce, especially related to the food industry - if a host were interested of course.
