Hey, My name is Noaii! I'm a Brazilian from Florianópolis, a incredible island in Santa Catarina, Souther Brazil that I recommend everyone to visit! At the moment I’m a International Relations student and during the last six months I was studying in Lisbon. From a very young age I started to travel and this is without a doubt one of my great passions. When I was 16, I made my first trip alone and it was an incredible experience because I met a lot of people and made many friends with whom I still speak today. Since then I've been traveling around, always with a backpack and lots of stories to tell. I love talking about politics, cultures and the crazy things in life, especially if the conversation is accompanied by a cold beer or a good caipirinha.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way to make an exchange of cultures, ideas, learn languages and save money at the same time, hehehe. When you are in a hotel, you know a city as a tourist and when you do the Couchsurfing, in addition to making friends, you have the opportunity to see how people actually live in this city.

Música, películas y libros

I really like Brazilian music, practically all genres, but my passions are Samba and MPB (Popular Brazilian Music). I also like Latin songs and some traditional bands like Beatles, Queen and Talking Heads.

About movies... my favorite movie is called "Cinema Paradiso", he tells about the boy Toto is enchanted by the cinema and starts a great friendship with the projectionist of his small town. As an adult and now a successful filmmaker, Toto remembers his childhood when he discovers that his old friend has passed away.

And I love books, my favorite one is called "The Man from St. Petersburg" and it is a thriller novel written by Ken Follett and published in 1982.

I made a backpacking through the Brazilian northeast sertão and I could see the real Brasil.
