Overview
About Me
I'm 24, originally from a moshav (sort of a village) in Israel.
Finished my service in the army in March 2017. Right afterwards went on to do the Israel National Trail for 2 months.
Traveled around Europe for 3 months during the summer of 2017 and then afterwards moved to the Arava (a nice peaceful strip in the desert in Israel) to work for half a year.
Spent 10 months in India through 2019 and atm living in Australia.
I love sports from all kind, (used to play handball profesionally before the army) and as of lately discovered the world of rock climbing and bouldering.
Travelling is my #1 passion and wish to do more of it before I decide to go study in a University.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me travelling isnt just visiting a place and going to the sightseeing and all the tourist hot-spots. I think that to really grasp and understand the place that you travelled you need to meet the locals, eat the local food, learn their culture and hear their stories.
I think that Couchsurfing is the ultimate platform for that kind of travelling. Getting to be hosted by locals and having interesting conversations is the best way to travel.
Interests
- traveling
- hiking
- rock climbing
- meeting new people
- learning new cultures
Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Love most kinds of music. As of lately I am really fond of jazz fusion.
Movies - Movie fanatic. There are just too much good ones to write down here.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
INT - Israel National Trail.
The INT is a thru - hike that takes around 2 months. It is 1000 km long and you get to travel around Israel, meet a lot of new people and also get to be hosted by trail angels (amazing people that open their home for INT hikers).
Beyond the great views and diverse scenery (desert, beach, mountains, forest, etc.), the trail provides you with an amazing social experience that cannot be put into words (you would have to hear the stories first hand ;).
Amazing adventure, got to meet a lot of people who spread their love to strangers.
Teach, Learn, Share
Would love to learn what I can sponge from anyone that would host me.
I can teach you a lot about Israel - the culture and the people.
Will share any story about myself or travels if u were to ask.
