I am about to start my fourth year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I've spent the past five months studying in Sevilla, Spain, and before heading back to the U.S. I will travel with a friend around Croatia and Italy. I am a very optimistic and open person and I try to embrace any new experience (traveling has definitely helped me with that).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To find a bed to sleep on while traveling (because I'm on a "student budget"), to learn as much as possible about the places I visit from the people who actually live there, to practice different languages and absorb all the interesting aspects of the local culture and life. But most importantly, to meet friendly and interesting people!

Interests

Music, movies, food, reading, traveling. My favorite thing to do in a new place is to just wander around and explore. I also love languages and history, and I really love having conversations with people (and even more with children).
