About Me
Hello and Shalom! I am travelling in Asia for a few month after a 4 year millitary service to get some fresh mountain air. I love hiking in nature and learning new things by meeting new people and going to different places. I leave in a small town near Tel Aviv in Israel, called Ganey Tikva. I also lived as a child for 2 years in scotland and in england, so my english is more than okay 😊. I vary from an active outdoor guy to a computer gamer - so be sure no matter what you want to do - i'm in 😄.
I also love music and its a major part of my life; I listen to many different genres mainly progressive rock, indie, classic rock, some americana, big band and can introduce you to state of the art israerli music which you couldn't even imagine. Besides that i also play guitar for the last 13 years and will love a jam session - even around a campfire.
I like to think myself as an explorer - i love learning new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After trekking through Israel for 2 month I learned that to have a good expirience in your journey you need to "expand your comfort zone" - saying "yes" to things or ideas you haven't tried before or hanging with people from different backrounds than yours is bound to enrich your world, make you a better person and make your entire life expirience more fun. Because of that I thought that couchsurfing could be the best platform for meeting new people and expanding my comfort zone to the unknown while travelling abroad. I like things I don't know because I can learn from them - so either hanging out through this platform with new people, hosting them at my accomodation or being hosted by them - is bound to give me a greater expirience of life.
Interests
I've been an active guy ever since i can remember myself, with swiming and running being a major part of my life - eventually turning into competative triathlon during my highschool years.
I love music and I love playing it, with a wide genre range and open to new suggestions for the benefit of the ear.
My love for hiking is somthing you are born with as an Israeli and a hobbie I nartured over the years - starting with small trips in nature with my family as a kid, through day hikes with my friends including camping, and in recent years trekking for sometime.
I was born with a natural thirst for knowledge so no matter what you want to talk about - I'm in.
