ABOUT ME

I am a free spirit who loves real connection, adventure, and meaningful work. I stay busy gardening, writing, filming, cycling, backcountry skiing, hiking, paddling, building, tinkering, playing music, baking, living.

Right now I call the great town of Burlington, Vermont, my home, but have lived in many places around the country and have traveled throughout Canada, Southeast Asia, and New Zealand, mostly on multi-week cycle tours.

I look forward to new adventures and friends ahead!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My previous couch surfing experience has been informal and spontaneous... and through this platform, too. While traveling in New Zealand, on several occasions, my partner and I were invited to stay a night at a complete strangers house. These were some of the best memories of our travels, and I think CouchSurfing is a way to make similar experiences happen - easier. Since then, I've hosted several travelling bike tourists, and stayed on couches in Saratoga Springs and along the California coast.
