ABOUT ME

I am a rare breed: an extreme metalhead and a doctor too! My life revolves around underground metal music and the philosophy/ideology behind it... no, it’s definitely more than the blasting drums and screeching vocals. I’m not good at instruments so I concentrate on doing vocals (screams and screeches). Apart from metal, I enjoy many electronic music especially good doses of trance and techno!

I abhor racism, environmental and animal exploitation as well as religious fanaticism. I advocate human rights, democracy, freedom of expression and recycling. Politically, I am a left socialist. I am neither a vegetarian nor an animal lover. Well, I might be vegetarian down the years. I am a pagan Hindu as I do not favour mainstream Hinduism and other herd-mentality religions. Nevertheless, I have many good friends (not on CS) whom are Christians, Muslims etc. My beliefs are personal and I do not preach. So we still can have drinks and hangout despite of certain differences. Everyone is unique.

At present, I am an administrative doctor (medical officer) at the Ministry of Health (federal government administration centre). Prior to this, I served 3 years in the clinical field – both in hospital and district clinic. My ultimate ambition is to work in an international/humanitarian organization like WHO / UN / UNESCO or in a biotech/pharmaceutical MNC. We'll see...

I am still studying and I believe education is a weapon. I am studying MBA and will consider studying further (doctorate, specialization) till the age of 35.

Interests

I love underground metal music and all the ideology and philosophy that's rooted to it (minus bigotry ideologies). I love reading and engaging topics on philosophy, theology (studies on religion/Gods), space-time mysteries and ancient cultures. I enjoy meeting up with people, especially metalheads but that's not necessary. I enjoy drinking with a good company - Oh, I love single malt whiskeys by the way~

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge fan of horror movies as well as sci-fi movies. I enjoy cartoons such as South Park, Family Guy as well as The Simpsons. I do not have time for books at the moment but I used to read up a lot on metaphysics and ancient cultures. I pretty much enjoy black metal, power metal and thrash metal music. Apart from that, I enjoy trance, techno and other subgenres of electronica.
