ABOUT ME

I discovered couchsurfing while traveling the world on a fellowship that allowed me to study the intricacies of the relationship between science and art in winemaking. I am a bit wine-obsessed, but also count yoga, food, and the outdoors as among my favorite things. I am equally content going out on the town, sightseeing (particularly just walking around places, not necessarily going to the most popular sites), or staying in to have a good conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

with all the travel i've done, i've begun to realize the importance of getting out and connecting with people to really understand a place. to me there's nothing better than that.

Wine, fermentation of any kind (think sauerkraut, kimchee, kombucha...), French life and culture.. I have multiple food intolerances so if you have any particular dietary restrictions I am very sensitive to this and love the challenge of finding something we can all eat!
