About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

When I was a kid I believed I was not a typical Japanese,
after having traveled to several countries, I realized my background of being Japanese.

IMHO, we are almost free from religious precepts, Buddhism and Shinto, but I grew up in a Christian family, we feel no guilt, and no hesitation to study and import foreign cultures to adapt and localize into daily life.
In this way, we a typical Japanese, I can't describe them one by but we learned lot on our last trip, the other words, we are open-minded, respect different cultures and religions,
no doubt CouchSurfing prompt, encourage us to learn, this is why we are with CS.

Notice,

we temporarily leave home for our holiday,
our daughters will return home for the summer holiday,
Summer in Nagoya is the worse period, terribly hot and sticky, and you probably suffer and complain of heat and wetness.
We hesitate to host during that terrible period,
Send a text to us before a request is preferable.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe human nature is fundamental to goodness.
World Peace may be brought by knowing, understanding & respecting each other how we are different and the same.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love Jazz most since teenage, Through my past journey, I was moved to
Lingara pop from Congo or Zaire,
Taarab in Tanzania, Hindu pops, Taiwan pops,
Klap in Croatia .. so on.

Love Any unknown local music I will hear on the road.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When i solo traveled in Tanzania, stacked in a rural village for 2 - 3 nights,
a Muslim family invited me for every meals.
It was my first acquaintance with Muslims then i could know they were really peaceful, polite, intelligent curious and respectful other cultures.
This past lucky meeting brought me to have my philosophy.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach Japanese cooking.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share our home cook daily meals,
We avoid taking addictives and MSG - we don't like its artificial taste- reduce amount of salt,
we mostly cook without package food, and eat at home.

We'd like to share them by donation base, means if you satisfied them, we appreciated you to donate fare cost of food stuff,
if you didn't satisfy them, you'd better manage to eat yourselves.
You can eat out and bring your own food, sorry we don't want CSers to use our kitchen without our sight, except micro wave oven to warm package food,

We host only who agree our conditions. When you place a Couch Request, please mention about your attitude, if you didn't mention it, we won't to replay.
This is our way to filter " Copy and Paste " and " Free Loaders" requests.
We are already tired to host those surfers.

* We won't replay any " Copy and Paste" request, such as same text as OCR, Request without our names.
RQ without anyting about our personal concern. so on..
