About Me
Hello! We’re Filipe and Inês, a couple of artists on a gap year, traveling the world to immerse ourselves in local cultures, connect with inspiring people, and learn from every experience along the way. Our journey is fueled by curiosity and creativity—we’re both passionate about capturing the beauty and stories of the places we visit through photography, sound, and visual arts.
Filipe specializes in photography and videography, with a talent for finding the extraordinary in everyday life. Inês has a background in sound design and field recording, always seeking out the unique sounds that define a place. Together, we create, explore, and share our experiences with the world.
We love getting to know people, trying new foods, and diving into the traditions that make each culture unique. We’re friendly, open-minded, and always eager to learn something new. It would be our pleasure to cook some delicious portuguese food for our hosts!
IF YOU'RE STAYING AT MY HOME:
We have chickens, a dog and two cats
My family eats meat and fish
We don't discriminate people based on gender, religion, skin color... so we apreciate if you don't as well
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We’re on Couchsurfing because we believe that the best way to truly understand a place is through its people. As artists and curious travelers, we’re not just looking for a place to stay—we’re seeking meaningful connections, stories, and experiences that go beyond typical tourist paths. Couchsurfing allows us to dive into local cultures, share our own perspectives, and learn from the unique insights of our hosts
