Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it is the best way to truly connect to a place: meeting locals has always been the highlight of my travels.

Haven't host yet but I'm really looking forward to ..one day. I need to stop and stay in a place first!!

I like to take photos or if I don't have a camera with me, just sitting and catching life moments through my eyes!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: defenively INTO THE WILD, I've seen it so many times..and anytime I catch something new and extraordinary in it.. then Motorcycle diaries, Moulin Rouge, Million Dollar Baby, Brokeback Mountains, Control, Gran Torino, Alpha Dog, City of God, Walk the line, Unforgiven, Trainspotting and many others!

Music: well, it depends on my mood....anyway Reggae and Blues on a daily basis! I love dicovering new singers, bands and music, especially from different background friend reccommendations.

Books: ON THE ROAD (I more than love Kerouac), tha catcher in the rye, Into the thin air, Walden...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ONE?!!

*traveled around Oz and lived in a van for 9 months;
*scuba dive @ the great barrier reef;
*skydove in Taupo, NZ;
*Tongariro trail in NZ;
*sunset at Jabiru, Kakadu NP;
*sunrise at Gran Canyon NP;
*safari in Ngorongoro NP;
*worked in a australian outback cattle station, in the middle of nowhere!! and rode a quad
*rode a bike through Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Palestine with 200 women from different countries;
*Inter-railed Europe!
* hiked @ Bromo Np, Indonesia;
* Camino de Santiago;
*Erasmus Sevilla;
*solo travel around asia mostly by land
*caught the transiberian train;
* drove a scooter from soth to north Vietnam
* skied 2 months for free in Canada
* aurora borealis
*hitchhiked from western Canada to Alaska
* took care of 90 sleddogs in Alaska
* volunteered with refugees
* worked for and enjoyed the Fringe Festival
* discovered more about the silk road by exploring some of its countries
* Hiking the Himalayas in Nepal
* Marvellous wildlife encounters in a Nepali jungle
* Worked in a National park in NZ
* Tramping in NZ
*waliking 400km from a place worked on a summer job back to home using a route (via Francigena)..on the opposite way!!
*More multi days hikes
*Spent a winter in Lapland
*Slept in very remote lovely cabins in Norway
*Assisted to traditional folkoristic celebration as Ivrea and Venice Carnival and Fallas in Valencia
*Partecipate to midsommer with swedish friends
*Hiking during the night to spot the midnight sun
*Met amazing CS people
