Overview
About Me
Basics: I'm a student in social and political sciences. Working part-time as a head waiter.
A bit more: A dreamer, a wannabe traveller, a foodie... Into curiosity & open-mindedness.
Let’s elaborate! I’m currently learning to get out of my comfort zone, try new things — the hard part is to accept the fact we all make mistakes/make fools of ourselves, but I’ll get there eventually :)
I don’t believe in God, but I believe in the human beings’ ability to always improve themselves, and to be good to one another.
What you get is what you give to the world :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I tend to be a last-minute traveller! I usually set my mind on going somewhere, and I just go if I can (so much for anticipating, my mother would say). CouchSurfing seems a great way to do that - less crowded than hostels, for one, and really good for immersions.
If not hosts, I hope I can find people to meet anywhere in the world on here :)
As for the hosting, my own couch should be available for travellers from next September!

Music, Movies, and Books
One of my favourite book of all time is 'Let the Great World Spin', written by the talented Collum McCann: a must-read! Another would be ‘Cien años de soledad’ by the great Gabriel García Marquez.
I’ll also recommend ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns’ by Khaled Hosseini - it’s gripping, moving, ... And I recently just finished ‘Normal People’ by Sally Rooney 👌
At the moment, I’m listening to a lot of soul/R&B - with influences from Motown to gospel to rap and hip-hop. And always into 80s hits!
Teach, Learn, Share
Looking to learn about places to visit in your hometown (from the somewhat touristy to the completely unexpected)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking, discussions, drinks... I’m the kind of person who doesn’t want to take too much space and is mindful of personal limits - if you want to hang out, sure!, but it’s fine if you can’t :)
