About Me
ABOUT ME
Friendly down to earth guy with a good sense of humour! (short version).
Ok there is more...I like people generally, and all of our varied experiences of this amazing planet, through meeting more of you, I seem to find more of myself.
Generally I think I'm a pretty well rounded person with the rough edges getting nicely smoothed by life experience. I like to have lots of fun but I'm keen to get into the deep stuff to, there are riches to be had there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Great to meet travellers and maybe have the opportunity to travel via couch surfing one day as well.
Interests
I like trying new things, but some of my highlights are walking, reading, eating great (mostly raw) food with friends, Oh, and making food with friends, love that!
I really love dancing, especially at outdoor parties and festivals. Live music is always a buzz and at the moment particularly loving some of Cape towns finest folk musicians, but my music taste is eclectic, just as at home on a trance dance floor (muddy field even better).
I'm interested in business stuff as I have my own company with my partner, Natalie. We run a raw foods business and manufacture really great snack food, all raw and super healthy. I really love my work as I get to play at the same time :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ok, so this is three...
Living in Cape town, and hiking on Table mountain. I just love it! Every time I go up there and look down on this amazing place, mountains, oceans, wonderful city, I feel blessed to be there and call it home.
Hiking barefoot into a deserted Wolfberg cracks (mountain top wonderland) with my two boys (15 and 17) and adventuring into a stone cathedral like nothing I have ever seen.
Crawling out of a muddy sweat lodge, physically broken, exhausted and spent. But, with a renewed sparkle, the world around me all aglow, exiting and new! My home, to explore with clear and fresh perception.
What I Can Share with Hosts
One of the most beautiful locations in Southern Africa, in an outdoor friendly environment.
Our home is safe and fun to be in.
We have three boys 24, 17 and 15 who are with us on and off, they are all really amazing young men to have around and into surfing, cycling, music etc.
