ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing, curious about everything, fearless, eccentric, I love to dance like a fool in supermarket for no reason, am prone to singing Disney or show tunes at the top of my lungs (even though I can't sing), am most at home in a kitchen or curled up with a book, always up for a good debate about anything, interested in philosophy, theater, learning new languages, and always smiling--hoping to experience life in whatever form it throws at me!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few beautiful and thoughtful people, and I am interested in meeting as many new people in my area as possible! I'm also hoping to gain new friendships as I couchsurf this winter in Europe!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The different views, different experiences, the act of opening your home and yourself up to the world, to people who are as curious about life as you are, is a priceless gift. This is what each Couchsurfing experience has given me.

I love to cook (mostly vegetarian or vegan food--I was never able to get the hang of cooking meat properly), read books that make me question life or human nature or make me want to change the world (or my own life) in a positive way, meeting new people and seeing how they live--what they find interesting and how that can expand my own knowledge about the human experience, making people laugh, taking naps and watching movies (especially foreign films), taking long drives in the country, scuba diving, skydiving, a great cup of tea, long conversations, ridiculous dancing, laughing so hard you cry, theater in any form, fluffy animals, spirituality, writing, meditation (I don't do this as much as I should), living the good life that I've been blessed with, GRATITUDE

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Every holiday I spend with my family leaves me awestruck. We are such a close knit group of individuals and I am continually amazed at our capacity to love one another--with all our quirks and silliness, our flaws and our tribulations in life, there are no other people who look out for me and love me with such ferocity like they do. It is truly a gift.

There is a Hostel in south Georgia. I've been going to it for 15 years, and it is such a breathtaking experience every time I visit. I get to meet people from around the world in a little mecca in the woods, laugh with them, share stories with them, and appreciate the beauty of life and the difference experiences we all share. It's amazing, no matter where you're from, no matter what the age or cultural divide, we're all the same. We're all trying to do the best with what we know how, travel our individual paths to truth, and find a little piece of happiness we can call our own. Life doesn't come with an instruction manual, you know? It's beautiful to get to bond with people who you wouldn't otherwise meet, yet you still utterly connect with.

I can learn something from absolutely anyone! I'm the type of person who strikes up a conversation with a stranger on the street, so if you're game, I'd love to talk to you! Perhaps we can both leave the conversation a little wiser, or happier :)
