I am quite new here- applying since I think Couchsurfing is a lovely place meeting people all over the world. I never signed up earlier since I hand a couch to offer, but I now know that it isn't mandatory. I am student of med and my heart is set on the arts. I do all kind of stuff from graphics to painting and interior design. So if you need a helping hand with interiors or so while I am in the city - Id love to help out. I love trivia and absurdities. I love humor and being silly and joking together. I love audiobooks - right in this moment I am listening to the Harry Potter books again, and I am stunned about all the fantasy and love that went into those book. Sometimes I think music and films you like say more about you than you yourself listing attributes about yourself, right? So I grew up with the Louis de Funes films which I like watching till today. I also still watch the Pink Panther by Peter Sellers, an sometimes quote his jokes with my dad. Nowadays my favorite films is La grande Belleza by Paolo Sorrentino. His film before Cayenne is also great. I enjoy Bossa Nova music the best and Jazz and old school Hip Hop and French Music like Boris Vian and Edith Piaf. Actually most music. I wish Id play an instrument well.I still love all book by Roland Dahl but nowadays I read a lot of medical stuff. Now a little attributes : I am very tidy ( love tidying up), responsible and empathic and generous. This was a very intuitive text- if you've got any questions apart from that- here I am to answer them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I admit- I enjoy traveling the comfortable way - a nice clean apartment or hotel. My boyfriend is all about the outside experience and camping - these are all things I cannot relate to.l I love the idea but not so much the heat in the tent and smell of the bonfire in my greasy hair for a week. But on the other hand renting an apt. very often doesn't give you a good impression of a city. Often you wander from one sight to another, without really getting to know the city and its people. I decided to couch surf to get the people in their cities, having nice conversations, listening to stories and seeing things that you maybe wouldn't have seen otherwise. Diving into another daily live for a short time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh I should have scrolled down.
Well Roland Dahl, Stefan Zweig , Wild Swans way Jung Chang about the Chinese history , i love the poems by Shel Silverstein, Zoobiquity by Natterson-Horrowitz oh and Arthur Gordon Pym by Edgar Ellen Poe. I read mostly medical book at the moment.
Movies: all the movies by Paolo Sorrentino , I discovered the Italian humor a year ago and therefore enjoy Italian movies, which titles I cannot remember. La grande Belleza / Harold and Maude / The Biographie of Nina Simone and Ray Charles / What´s up doc? / All of the our planet episodes . . . I still own a TV and love watching history and biography documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh hm- if it i amazing lies in the eyes of the beholder- but I enjoyed very much ( and it really pulled me out of my comfort zone) getting a beekeeper certificate 2 years ago.
